Drake and 21 Savage are facing a $4 million lawsuit after rubbing Vogue the wrong way over their album promo.
Conde Naste, Vogue’s parent company, filed a lawsuit against the “Her Loss” rappers according to TMZ. Legal docs, obtained by the outlet, reportedly say Drake and 21 used the legacy magazine’s name to promote their joint album “Her Loss” by posing on what looks like a legit VOGUE cover, leading fans to believe the company would drop the special edition soon.
Some media outlets even reported on the issue, which is bothersome to Condé Nast. They say the company and Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief, “have not endorsed [“Her Loss”] in any way.”
The company also claims to have asked the platinum-selling rappers multiple times for all promos using the Vogue name to be taken down, but nothing’s been done. Both Drake and 21 shared images on the phony covers, with no hint that it was a spoof. They even tagged the magazine, giving Anna a shout out in the caption.

Condé Nast also claims Drake and 21’s teams email blasted fans about “celebrating Drake’s Vogue cover.” They said street teams across the country would even be handing out the fake copies and did.
